It’s that time of year again! Back to school is one of my favorite times; I love starting new classes, seeing my friends again, and, of course, buying school supplies. Here’s what I’ve purchased for my senior year!
Although this isn’t a new purchase for this year, I thought I’d share the backpack I’ve been using for approximately the past 6 months. This North Face backpack has tons of space for everything I need. There’s a laptop compartment with extra padding to keep your computer safe and there are lots of pockets for organization. I love the colors, too!
An agenda is something I get so excited to purchase every year. The Lilly Pulitzer ones are my absolute favorites. They have tons of space for everything you need to write down, plus they’re colorful and bright to keep you motivated.
This is my third Lilly agenda, and a problem I always had with them was that the spine would begin to come undone as the year progressed. This year, they finally came out with a covered spine version! It looks great and I expect it will be much more durable.
I love decorating my binders, and this year I decided to print some Lilly Pulitzer printed covers. The cover for chemistry was made from a template and the right cover I made myself. The binders themselves are from Staples.
These dividers are really cute and reversible! I also got them at Staples.
I love these Studio C folders (couldn’t find the link, sorry!) because they have room for a ton of papers and fit nicely in a binder. I find that when I try to put normal folders in binders, they’re impossible to open and just cause frustration. These are super cute (especially the tortioseshell one!) and a great place to put random papers or things that aren’t hole-punched!
Here are some normal folders (Studio C and Five Star) I’ll probably just keep loose in my backpack for papers that don’t fit into a class, and to use for classes that don’t require a full binder.
This one is awesome because it has four pockets instead of two!
I’ve always loved the Five Star 5 subject notebooks, and this year they came out with these new ones with a covered spine and moveable dividers. These will be really nice because I generally don’t actually use the notebooks for 5 classes (usually more like 3 per notebook), so I can just take out two of the dividers.
I also printed these adorable covers from this website.
Next up is pens and pencils! My favorite standard ballpoints are the RSVP fine tip ballpoint pens. They write really smoothly and don’t leave globs of ink on the page. For felt tips, I love the Sharpie Fine Point Pen Stylo and these colors are great! I also wanted some colored ballpoint pens, and these were the only ones at Staples with a fine tip and pretty colors. As for pencils, the standard BIC ones work well for me!
Mints are an essential for me at school. I don’t like to chew gum, mostly because of the hassle of needing to throw it out. Icebreakers are wonderful; my favorite flavors are the sour ones (although they are very addictive!) and the wintergreen. The Breathsavers were a complete impulse purchase! My grandma used to give those to my sister and me all the time, and when I saw them and got a flood of memories from childhood!
Now for sticky notes/miscellaneous items: I was looking around for cute sticky notes to use in my agenda, mainly to stick on a day and write a to-do list of things not school-related. I found these Lilly Pulitzer sticky notes at Barnes and Noble, and they’re perfect! I love the “To Do” pad.
I got binder clips and a pencil sharpener from Target, and the large folding pad of sticky notes from Staples.
The sticky flags are something that I use constantly. I can never sit down to read anything without a pack of these. I decided to just purchase a bunch because I go through them like crazy.
I recently purchased this laptop case so that I could start putting stickers on my laptop! My collection is still small, but I love the way it’s turning out!
Hope you enjoyed reading about my back to school haul!
